Refund policy

7-day money-back guarantee

If VocType is not for you, email us within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. This covers either plan, whether you paid straight away or your free trial turned into a paid plan. The free trial itself costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund for it.

Cancelling

Cancelling stops your plan from renewing. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and cancelling on its own does not trigger a refund. To cancel, open Settings in the app, then Account, and click Cancel renewal. You can also email support@voctype.com from the address you signed up with.

Later renewals

Outside the first 7 days, we look at refund requests for renewals one by one. Email us and tell us what happened.

How to ask for a refund

Email support@voctype.com from the address you signed up with. We handle every request by hand and aim to reply within 2 business days. That is when you hear from us, not when the money arrives. Once we issue a refund, your card issuer usually shows the credit within 5 to 10 business days.

What a refund changes

A refund ends paid dictation straight away. You can still sign in, see your History and subscribe again later.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account in the app ends access at once and cancels any renewal. We then refund the unused part of your current paid period automatically, plus any credit left over from switching plans. An email confirms the deletion and the amount. If your bank can't accept the refund, we contact you to pay it another way. Within the first 7 days, email us before you delete your account if you want the full refund under the guarantee.

Refunds through Link

Link (Sold through Link, LLC) is our reseller and merchant of record, so you can also ask Link support for a refund from your receipt email. At its own discretion, Link may refund a payment made in the last 60 days. A refund includes any tax you paid.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a dispute with your card issuer. We can usually sort it out faster.
