Who should pick Wispr Flow instead
Wispr Flow is the better choice for some people. Pick it if:
- You want to keep dictating without paying. VocType has a free trial, not a free option.
- You want the same app on your phone. Wispr Flow lists Mac, Windows, iOS, Android; VocType is Mac and Windows only today.
- You buy for a team and need admin controls, single sign-on or compliance paperwork. Wispr Flow sells team plans for that.
- You also want meeting notes. Wispr Flow offers a Notetaker alongside dictation.
Who should pick VocType
- You dictate on a computer every day and want the lower yearly price.
- You want one hotkey that starts and stops recording from any app, with the text pasted at your cursor.
- You write prompts, messages, tickets and docs by voice, and keep past dictations in History to copy them again.
